Introducing the Fellowship of Christian Reconstructionist Churches

The Fellowship of Christian Reconstructionist Churches (FCRC) exists to glorify God by planting, advancing, and sustaining Christian civilization.

After months of planning, organizing, and prayer, we are pleased to announce the FCRC, a Kingdom-oriented collaboration of churches, missionaries, and strategic partners whose aim is the planting, advancing, and sustaining of Christian civilization.

The Great Commission is the task of making disciples of all nations, and this is done on the basis of Christ’s comprehensive authority “in heaven and on the earth” (Matthew 28:18). Because Christ has been enthroned (Daniel 7:13-14), it is now our task to teach the nations how to serve Christ in every area life. While this may seem like an unattainable task, we can rest assured that Jesus has equipped us to work together in order to accomplish this goal.

But how might this sort of mission be carried out, especially when there’s so many churches and the nations still remained largely un-discipled? The FCRC is a strategic answer to this very problem.

By and large, the church in America suffers from what we might call, Mini-Temple Syndrome. Instead of being a synagogue (i.e., a social order that touches every area of life), the ekklesia of God has given herself over to pietism, pacifism, and retreatism. This unholy trinity teaches that: 1) The importance of the material world is reduced, 2) We must be passive and not active, and 3) We must protect ourselves by staying away from the world.

Because of the three aforementioned, sinful dispositions, the Church becomes synonymous with the Kingdom of God, and thus its leaders become the purveyors of all things “holy.” When the institutional church is reduced to “Sunday Onlyism,” the culture decays because the salt and light has been in hiding, nowhere to be found.

Which means that things must be different. In order to combat the cultural decay and the pietistic ambiance in the Church, we must do more than complain: we must build.

The FCRC is a concerted effort of churches and missionaries and partners who, instead of getting bogged down in bureaucratic red tape, instead make the Kingdom of God the priority rather than the kingdoms of men, pastors, and churches. Our commitment to the world around us means that we will return to a biblical view of the Church, church hierarchy, and how we carry out the Great Commission.
